Support Plans

Support plans are given to all children who are on the SEND register and outline their main area of need, their targets for the term and what support the child will receive in and outside the classroom to achieve their targets. Support plans are reviewed termly by the SEND team and class teacher, however in some cases it may be half termly. If a child has an EHCP or other professional reports, then information from them will be copied on the support plan.

Teachers will arrange meetings with the child’s parents to share a new support plan, we encourage parents to share their views and contribute their concerns or thoughts as we understand that parents know their children best. Once provision has been agreed, parents will be asked to sign and will receive a copy to take home. Support plans are shared with all members of staff who work with the child in school.
