Welcome to Year 5 - Peru Class
Class Teacher: Mrs Gregory
I am Mrs Gregory, a teacher in Year 5, and I have taught across both KS1 and KS2 throughout my career. I have also been fortunate enough to live and teach in both Japan and Poland, experiences which have given me a wonderful appreciation for different cultures and ways of learning. I believe that every child has something unique to offer and that, with the right encouragement, support and opportunities, they can discover what they are capable of and develop a real love of learning. I particularly love those moments in the classroom when children become completely absorbed in their learning, share an idea they are excited about or suddenly realise, “I can do this!” Seeing their confidence grow and watching them become proud of their own achievements is one of the most rewarding parts of being a teacher.
Outside of school, I love reading, travelling and spending time discovering new places and experiences. I especially enjoy getting lost in a good book and sharing stories with children, as I believe that books have the power to spark imagination, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
